Two Men Linked to Scam Group Investigated for Money Laundering

Singapore police are investigating two Chinese men for money laundering.

They are looking at Hu Xiaowei, 44, and Qui Wei Ren, 38, for these crimes.

Hu Xiaowei has passports from Cyprus, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and Hong Kong. The police took his assets in Singapore in January 2026.

Qiu holds passports from Cambodia and Saint Kitts and Nevis.

The police started looking into the Prince Holding Group in 2024 and took action in October 2025.

The group's founder, Chen Zhi, was arrested in Cambodia and sent to China.

Hu Xiaowei and Qiu Wei Ren left Singapore before the police started their operation and are not in the country now.

The police have taken assets worth over S$600 million related to this case.

Since March 2026, the police have stopped the sale of properties and assets worth about S$100 million.

The police are working with international partners to investigate the scam group.

This led to the investigation of Qiu.

The police will keep working with foreign law enforcement to stop crimes linked to the Prince Holding Group.

Three Singaporeans were arrested for suspected money laundering related to the scam group.

An arrest warrant was issued for a Singaporean woman for trying to cheat and falsify accounts.

The US Office of Foreign Assets Control listed Future Oasis and Qiu in its latest sanctions related to Prince Group.

Future Oasis is a Singapore-based company owned by Future King, which is controlled by Hu.

Hu was previously sanctioned by the US in October 2025 for his suspected involvement in Prince Group.

He is also known by two other names.

Hu is described as the scam group's second-in-command and a close associate of Chen Zhi.
