England's World Cup Team: Tuchel Talks About Transfers and New FIFA Rules

Thomas Tuchel thinks Anthony Gordon's move to Barcelona is great news because he can now watch him play in Spain.

Gordon joined Barcelona in a £70m deal, which could help him before the World Cup. Tuchel says it's good for England because Gordon is joining a big club, and it's also good for Tuchel to watch him play in the sun.

Tuchel said: 'It's excellent news. I can watch him play in the Champions League. He'll be playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world, with a new style of football. Winning is important there, and he wanted a new adventure.'

Tuchel used the example of Arsenal players Bukayo Saka and Noni Madueke, who compete with each other, to show that rivalry can work. Gordon will compete with Marcus Rashford for England and maybe Barcelona too.

Tuchel added: 'Saka and Madueke compete, but they're still friends. Let's see what Barcelona decides about Rashford. It's an interesting situation.'

Rashford started a game, but Gordon replaced him at half-time, and they're competing for a starting place.

Jude Bellingham thinks Rio Ngumoha will have a long England career after his 'amazing' debut.

Ngumoha, 17, played well, and Bellingham presented him with his cap after the game. Bellingham said: 'Congratulations on your debut. You have a bright future ahead of you.'

Ngumoha was 'speechless' after the game, and fans want him in the World Cup squad.

But Ngumoha can't be in the World Cup squad because he wasn't in the original list given to FIFA.

Tuchel said: 'I need to get used to these new things. I like it the old way, but things change, and we have to adapt.'

Tuchel doesn't think about whether players will be happy to line up after being dropped. Maybe it's a nice thing for them to be part of the team.
