Filipino Tourist Jailed for Taking Secret Videos of Women in Singapore

Usi Christian Jior Orlino, a 27-year-old man from the Philippines, was charged with taking secret videos of six women in Singapore.

He admitted to taking the videos and pleaded guilty to three of the charges, with the other charges considered during his sentencing.

Orlino was visiting Singapore as a tourist when the incident happened, and he was staying with his girlfriend at the time.

Many tourists visit Singapore and take photos at popular places like Merlion Park. Singapore is a popular tourist destination.

Orlino took videos of six different women in less than three hours on November 6, 2025, with five of the incidents happening at Chinatown Point and one at Outram Park MRT station.

One incident happened at a bakery in Chinatown Point, where Orlino used his iPhone to record a video under a woman's skirt for about 33 seconds.

Two commuters saw Orlino taking the video on an escalator and stopped him. They then handed him over to the station staff.

The police arrived and arrested Orlino after watching the other videos he had taken that day.
