Mother Almost Dies After Giving Birth

A mother, Chloe Jacobs, almost died after giving birth to her baby. She woke up feeling dizzy and later lost a lot of blood. Chloe was 34 weeks pregnant when she felt dizzy at 1:30 am.
Chloe went back to sleep, but woke up 90 minutes later and found herself bleeding a lot. She was scared for her baby and sat on the toilet while her fiancé called an ambulance.
Chloe was taken to the hospital, where her baby, Pixi, was born by caesarean section. The doctors could not stop Chloe's bleeding, which was caused by a problem with her placenta.
Twenty minutes after Pixi was born, the doctors put Chloe into a coma to stop the bleeding. After nine blood transfusions, Chloe and Pixi are now home and healthy.
Chloe said she is lucky to be alive and grateful to the medical team.
Chloe has not yet processed what happened. She and her baby could have died, which is a scary thought.
Chloe was very scared when she was bleeding. The blood would not stop, even during Pixi's birth.
