Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed a serious incident in Plymouth after a police helicopter was seen circling the city on Monday evening.

Emergency services are at a business park near Cattedown.

The helicopter has been flying low over the St Judes area since 9pm.

Police cordons are in place with many police near Treeby Court.

A resident saw many police and ambulances off Gdynia Way.

A resident said there is a major incident on Embankment Road with a helicopter and ambulances. The helicopter is searching parks and streets.

The police have not given more details about the incident.
