Daffodils will thrive year after year if you follow Alan Titchmarsh's important tip

Daffodils show spring has begun. They bloom from February to May. After blooming, they look messy. Don't cut them back right away. Alan Titchmarsh says wait. They bloom, then get messy.
Wait six weeks, then remove wilted flowers. After six weeks, cut them down to the ground. This makes them look neater.
To make daffodils bloom next year, feed them.
Alan Titchmarsh said in a video: 'Feed them to help them.'
Leave daffodils for six weeks before cutting them back.
Alan Titchmarsh likes blood, fish, and bone fertilizer.
This fertilizer has nitrogen, phosphates, and potash.
Alan says to use blood, fish, and bone fertilizer to make daffodils bloom more.
He says taking off seed heads, letting the sun shine, and feeding the bulbs will make them bloom next year.
If daffodils have leaves but no flowers, they may be 'blind'.
This can happen if they don't have enough space, are in too much shade, or the soil is bad.
If this happens, move them to a new spot in the autumn.
Make sure they have the right conditions to grow.
It may take a few years for them to bloom again.
