I Visited the Love Island Villa and Learned Its Secrets

Tonight on Love Island, a new person will reveal secrets about the villa. I visited the villa in Majorca where 12 UK singles will live together. I found out what it's like behind the scenes.

There is only one toilet in the villa. All the islanders have to share it. Last year, 20 people lived in the villa at the same time. They all used the same toilet. The islanders made it work before, so they will try again.

The islanders share one toilet.

While waiting for the toilet, islanders can go to two new areas. These areas are small and private. They can sit and talk to each other, but it might cause problems.

The sitting areas are on the upper floor, near the terrace. They can cause drama, like crying or arguing. Islanders can talk to their friends or have a fight with their partner.

There are two lounge areas.

In the past, islanders argued in the smoking area. Remember when Amber Davies rolled her eyes at Chris Hughes? The smoking area is gone now.

The smoking area is no more. It was removed in 2018 because of TV rules. Islanders still smoke, but they have to leave the villa. They can't take anyone with them.

There have been many iconic moments at the smoking area.

If a couple is doing well, one of them can make breakfast. The kitchen has eggs, bread, milk, and bacon. They can also ask for special food.

If a couple gets intimate, the production team doesn't rush to change the sheets. They change the sheets twice a week and before recouplings.

The production team starts filming at night, around 9 pm. They wait for the sun to set, so they can get dramatic shots.

When the show is over, the villa is cleaned up. All the Love Island decorations are removed, and the villa goes back to normal.
