A Special Tree in Vietnam Looks Like Food

In a small village in Nghe An Province, there's a thousand-year-old banyan tree that people really like. It's about 30 meters tall and stays green all year.
The tree is special because of its big roots and shape. Many roots go down from the trunk and wrap around three big rocks under the tree. Two rocks are at the bottom, and a bigger one is on top, making a cool natural picture.
The roots are very thick and hold the rocks tightly before going into the ground. Over time, the roots and rocks have become one, making a rare landscape that looks like a traditional food dish.
People think the tree's base with two rocks looks like a plate of sticky rice, and the roots look like chicken legs. The trunk looks like a chicken's body.
Around the main trunk, there are many roots going into the ground, making natural columns. These help the tree stay strong against the sun, wind, and storms.
People in the village say the tree has always been there. It's a symbol of the community and is called the 'unity tree'. No one is allowed to hurt it.
A company helped build a shrine and protection around the tree in 2009. In 2015, it was officially recognized as a special tree in Vietnam.
