Last Chance for Glasgow Fire-Affected Businesses to Get Help

Glasgow City Council is giving out the money from the Scottish government's £10m promise.
Many businesses were hurt by the fire that started in a vape shop on March 8.
73 businesses lost their buildings, and many more lost sales because of the closed area.
There are three kinds of help, based on how close a business was to the fire.
Over 110 businesses have already applied, and 50 more are working on it.
Businesses have until Sunday at 11:59 PM to apply.
Businesses that lost their buildings can get £25,000, and others can get £15,000 or £2,000.
The council leader said helping local businesses is very important after the fire.
A government official said the money will help businesses get back on their feet quickly.
This help will start the process of rebuilding the area.
The fire destroyed a old building, leaving only the front wall standing.
Train services were stopped for 10 days at a nearby station after the fire.
