They looked at the taste, smell, texture, and appearance of each ketchup.
Heinz ketchup was good, but a supermarket ketchup was just as good and cheaper.

Asda ketchup got 77% and was liked for its taste and low sugar and salt.
Asda ketchup costs £1.39 and Heinz costs £3. They both got the same score.
People liked Heinz ketchup for its texture and taste, but it has more salt and sugar.
Heinz has a version with less sugar, but it was not in the test. Waitrose ketchup came third.
A blind test found the best ketchups.
Waitrose ketchup got 75% and was liked for its flavor and consistency.
Aldi ketchup came fourth and costs 89p.
Aldi ketchup has the least sugar and people liked its consistency, but not all liked the taste.
Marks and Spencer ketchup was the worst, it was too thick and tangy.
