Singapore University Ranks in Top 10 Globally

Students graduated from the National University of Singapore on June 9, 2026.
QS released its 2027 rankings on June 18. It looked at 1,504 universities in 106 countries. The US and UK have most of the top 10 spots.
Imperial College London and Stanford University are tied for second place. The University of Oxford is fourth, and Harvard University is fifth.
Asia has few universities in the top 10.
Nanyang Technological University in Singapore is just outside the top 10 at 12th place.
Six Asian universities are in the top 20, including the University of Hong Kong and Peking University.

The ranking uses 10 evaluation indicators. Academic reputation is the most important, making up 30% of the score.
Other important criteria include employer reputation and faculty-to-student ratio.
