Great British Summer Savings Plan Starts Thursday

A new government plan to help families save money starts on Thursday.
The Great British Summer Savings plan was announced in May to help families with the cost of living.
The plan reduces VAT from 20% to 5% on some purchases and offers free bus travel for children in August.
Here are some key things to know about the plan.
Legoland is one of the places taking part in the Great British Summer Savings plan.
From June 25 to September 1, some services will have a lower VAT rate of 5%.
The government does not have a list of all the businesses taking part in the plan.
Businesses can choose to take part in the plan, and it will not cost them anything.
Some popular places like Peppa Pig World and Alton Towers are taking part in the plan.
You will be able to search online to find out which businesses near you are taking part.
Some companies are already showing their new prices for the summer.
Merlin, which owns Alton Towers and Legoland, has updated its ticket prices.
Longleat safari park has also changed its ticket prices to show the discount.
Some cinema chains like Odeon and Vue are taking part in the plan.
Restaurants like Greene King and Nando's are also passing on the tax savings.
Nando's and Wetherspoons are reducing the price of children's meals.
Season tickets are not included in the Great British Summer Savings plan.
The rules say that some passes do not qualify for the discount.
If you have already bought tickets, you might be able to get a partial refund.
Some companies will automatically refund the difference on eligible tickets.
If you are not sure about a refund, you can contact the company's customer services.
The government thinks the plan will cost around £300million.
