A fire started on Smithdown Road with firefighters and police there.

Firefighters were called at 10:04pm and arrived at 10:10pm. There are eight fire trucks and one special truck. They are working to put out the fire.

The police have closed Smithdown Road because of a lot of smoke from a takeaway.

A person who lives nearby said they saw smoke and called for help.

The fire trucks and police came quickly. Before they came, there was a big explosion. The person who lives nearby took video of what happened.
