New 807-Mile Train Route Launches in Europe

A new train route will take eighteen-and-a-half hours.

A new 807-mile train route across Europe starts this month. It links Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic. Tickets start at £9.

The journey will be one of Europe's longest, taking 18-and-a-half hours. It will run once a day between Przemyl in Poland and Frankfurt in Germany.

The train stops at Kraków, Ostrava, Prague, Dresden, Leipzig, and Erfurt.

The CEO of Leo Express said this is one of the longest direct train services in Europe at 807 miles.

He said the train will help connect western and eastern Europe because Przemyl is near the Ukrainian border.

He said they are connecting important European cities and giving access to Ukraine.

They are also creating an alternative to other train operators in Germany.

One of the train stops is Prague in the Czech Republic.

The train carriages will have power sockets, wifi, food, and air conditioning.

There are different seating classes, including premium, business, and economy.

The train from Poland leaves Przemyl at 1:31pm and arrives in Frankfurt at 7:53am the next day.

The train from Germany leaves at 8:27am and arrives at 2:23am the next day.

Przemyl is about six miles from the Polish-Ukrainian border.

The city has helped refugees from Ukraine since the war started in 2022.
