0:00sooo a boy will always hold a special
0:01place my empty heart not because I have
0:04fond memories working there but because
0:05some of you really liked it when I
0:07talked about working there and I made
0:09buckets with those videos compared to
0:10what I was making at SU ablai which was
0:12nice
0:13apparently I was hashtag relatable
0:14enough to connect with millions of
0:17people and it took my channel to where
0:19it is today and then less than two weeks
0:20later I made a part two to that video
0:22and I struck an even bigger chord with
0:24people who likes the sequel better than
0:26the original people think that I used
0:28the word sway in my videos so I wouldn't
0:31get sued this is not true
0:32I wasn't successful enough to get sued
0:34they had other problems to deal with at
0:36the time I called it sua way for a joke
0:38in my first video I said I used to work
0:41at a very small local sandwich shop I
0:43don't know if any of you guys heard of
0:44it it's called I was making you think
0:47that I worked at an unknown place and
0:49then I subvert adir expectations by
0:51saying I worked at sub sua blame I
0:54career I am calling my previous place of
0:57employment
0:57suab way I don't want to get souped the
1:00most requests I get for a video is sua
1:03bleep art for but I've never really
1:04considered making another one because I
1:06don't work there anymore
1:08I have no new stories to talk about the
1:10place but something happened recently
1:12and I do want to talk about it you see
1:15the subway I used to work at close down
1:18and I am so deeply upset at this news
1:20that the only way for me to cope is to
1:22make one last video about it so this
1:24story happened a couple of years after I
1:26quit working at Subway I was behind on
1:28the video so that meant I was in a
1:29mentally damaging mindset called crunch
1:31mode and I had been working all day and
1:34I started getting hungry and I still
1:35hadn't taken floof on a walk so I
1:37decided to kill two birds with one stone
1:39and eat floof oh just kidding I decided
1:42to take floof on a walk to my local
1:43Subway and before I entered the store I
1:45picked up floof and held her in my arms
1:47cuz I'm not a psychopath I know taking
1:50your dog into a restaurant is tacky and
1:52a health code violation but this is a
1:55sue of way we're talking about I know
1:57how laid-back it is here there are no
1:59rules or health codes one time when I
2:02was working at my suab way this 10 year
2:04old kid came in wearing a swimsuit and
2:06literally nothing else
2:08Andy was unsupervised he didn't want a
2:10sandwich all he wanted was a cookie but
2:12this kid wasn't wearing
2:13or a shirt the two things you need to
2:16get serviced at a restaurant so did I
2:18tell this shirtless delinquent to get
2:20lost no he had money so I did business
2:22with him I don't discriminate against
2:24shirtless people look his mom was
2:27probably at the grocery store next door
2:28and he just got done with swimming
2:30lessons and he said something like
2:31mother I would be most grateful if you
2:34let me consume a pastry with high levels
2:36of sugar and simple carbohydrates and
2:37his mom probably said yeah whatever nerd
2:40go get something at Hsu away so the
2:42point of this story is to let you know
2:43that I was the kind of employee who as
2:45long as you were willing to pay for your
2:47food didn't care what you were wearing
2:49or what health code you were violating
2:50this is a gosh-darn subway so I walk in
2:54with flu and it's completely empty by
2:55the way seems like I'm the only one in
2:57this town that even likes suab way and
2:59the worker aka the only other person in
3:01the store said is that a service animal
3:03Lupe's not a service animal unless the
3:06service you want is someone to chew up
3:07all your stuff and bark at everyone but
3:09she still emotionally supports me when I
3:11tell her I'm gonna die alone she tries
3:13to make me feel better by licking the
3:15inside of my nose but I didn't want to
3:17lie to this guy about flutes emotional
3:18support status because if I said yes and
3:21he said prove it I would be in trouble
3:23so like the emotionally stable enough to
3:25not need a dog person that I am I said
3:28uh no and he said she can't be in here
3:32if the health inspector came in they
3:33would fire me on the spot which like
3:35jeez dude you're gonna let the health
3:37inspector treat you like that stand up
3:39for yourself once in a while so I said
3:41okay I'll leave yeah there are other
3:45restaurants in walking distance sua
3:47Blake I the ramen place lets me order
3:49with floof in my arms all the time I
3:51know this because I've already been
3:53there twice this week and the only
3:55reason I'm even getting sue away is
3:57because I don't want the ramen employees
3:59thinking that I'm a weird guy who brings
4:01my nan emotional support dog everywhere
4:02you missed out sue a boy do you know who
4:05I am
4:06I used to work here and then the guy
4:08called my bluff he said wait we can make
4:11it fast
4:11as fast as Jimmy John's this kid
4:14standing up for himself I'm proud of him
4:16I knew exactly what to tell him I want a
4:18footlong ham sandwich on Italian bread
4:20with American cheese I know that's the
4:21hardest cheese to pull apart with gloves
4:23on but whatever he spedrun putting on
4:25the meat and cheese and then he asked
4:27me what kind of vegetables and in my
4:28mind I went hold on you didn't ask me if
4:31I wanted it toasted I see what you're
4:33doing you're trying to get the sandwich
4:35finished as quickly as possible so
4:37you're not even going to ask me if I
4:39want to toast it and hope I forgot well
4:41it's okay because I didn't want it
4:43toasted but I'm on to you and then floof
4:45jumped over the counter Pete on the
4:46olives and bit the guy in the jugular
4:48and then lick the inside of his nose
4:50some people take their job way too
4:52seriously well at least some sue away
4:54workers are more laid-back like me like
4:56this one time not too long ago I went
4:58back to this to a boy I used to work at
5:00and I didn't recognize any of the people
5:01there but someone did get recognized in
5:03that store me one of the workers said
5:06are you the guy that made the cartoon
5:08about working here and I said yeah and
5:11then I decided to make his job
5:12interesting by telling him hey kid this
5:16is the place what this is where it all
5:19happened kid these floors are the very
5:21same floors and I used to mop you missed
5:24a spot over there and this kid lost all
5:27six of his olives okay I don't use my
5:29fame to get into places I'm not supposed
5:31to usually but this kid was so excited
5:35and I used to work here so I asked him
5:37can I go in the back which is probably
5:40breaking up a jillion health code
5:42violations but this kid didn't care he
5:44let me in it had been three years since
5:46I had been back there and literally
5:48nothing had changed I don't know if any
5:50of you have ever moved out of your
5:51parents house and then three years later
5:53you went back to visit and saw your
5:55childhood bedroom but it was that sort
5:56of feeling the chip boxes were still in
5:58the same place inside the freezer all
6:00the food was pretty much where I left it
6:02and the bulletin board had all the same
6:03papers one of the papers was a list of
6:05all the employees with their names and
6:07phone numbers and that list was so old
6:09that it still had all of my old
6:11co-workers names and numbers and it even
6:13had my own name and number still on the
6:15sheet it had been crossed out but I
6:17still went and I punch it out with a
6:19pencil maybe that's how my phone number
6:21got leaked and then I thought I wonder
6:24if the other number is still here in the
6:26very back of the room there was this
6:28desk and I got down on the gross on
6:30mopped floor and I scooted underneath
6:32the desk and oh my gosh it's still here
6:34when I used to work there
6:35one of my co-workers found this store's
6:37Wi-Fi password and wrote it down on the
6:39bottom side of the dead
6:40so then everyone could watch Netflix
6:42instead of work and the employee had no
6:45idea was there and he typed it into his
6:47phone and it still worked all right
6:49don't tell people that I told you this I
6:52said we can't let anyone know this
6:54secret
6:54but then the place closed down so now no
6:56one can get in trouble
6:57anyways I'm gonna miss that place it was
6:59gross I didn't love working there but in
7:02the end it was the most memorable job I
7:05had as a teenager as it was the only
7:07other job that I had it formed a good
7:09work ethic I made new friends
7:11and I even got to eat free food
7:12sometimes but now I make it suit for
7:14this video so we'll see what happens so
7:16now every time I walk into Sioux a boy
7:18with my non service animal a little part
7:20of me will be sad that my old subway is
7:22in ruins okay maybe it's not in ruins
7:24but they'll probably turn it into a nail
7:25salon or something nothing lasts forever
7:27so it's time to give su abuela a proper
7:30burial
