Chinese murder suspect arrested at Ho Chi Minh City airport while attempting to flee

Authorities identified Hu as the main suspect in a fatal incident that occurred the previous afternoon at a hotel in An Lac Ward. The victim was a foreign man.
Police had alerted airport authorities overnight after identifying Hu as a person of interest. Investigators determined he had checked in for a Shandong Airlines flight bound for China.
Using surveillance footage, officers located him sitting at a café in the international terminal and moved in to make the arrest.

Following several hours of questioning, Hu confessed to the killing. He told investigators he had used a blade that he later hid on top of a beverage cabinet at a nearby restaurant.
Police said they have since recovered the evidence and are continuing to question the suspect as the investigation proceeds.
