Vietnam Plans to Hire Over 2,000 Foreign Scientists by 2035

By 2035, Vietnam wants to hire at least 30 top experts and scientists to lead important tasks in education, research, and technology.
Vietnam also wants to hire 500 more experts to work full-time at universities and vocational schools. They will lead research groups, labs, and programs in important technological fields.
Additionally, 1,500 experts and scientists will work with Vietnamese institutions to teach, research, and collaborate regularly.
To achieve these goals, Vietnam will improve its policies, create a network of global experts, and promote itself as a good place for academics and research. It will also use many resources, create modern research environments, and use technology and artificial intelligence.
The plan includes creating standards for foreign experts and giving priority to important scientific and technological areas. It also proposes a fair and efficient hiring process.
Vietnam will offer good salaries, bonuses, and tax benefits to attract experts. It will also recognize academic titles from other countries and provide a good working environment.
The country will also change its financial rules and give public institutions more freedom to manage resources. It will simplify administrative processes and provide support for housing and living conditions for the experts and their families.
