Blueberries stay fresh for 8 weeks with a simple wash

We love eating fresh blueberries, but some get mushy quickly. They are juicy, but also very delicate.
Blueberries are small, but can have pesticides, dirt, and bacteria on them. Rinsing with plain water may not be enough to keep them fresh.
Food expert Amy Cross shared her method for keeping blueberries fresh on Instagram.
Amy says blueberries last a long time when stored correctly.
She says they can stay fresh for 6 to 8 weeks when washed and stored correctly.
To keep them fresh, fill a bowl with water, add blueberries, and 1/4 cup of white vinegar.
Let the blueberries soak in the vinegar for 2 minutes.
After soaking, drain and rinse the blueberries to remove any debris.
Lay the blueberries out to dry on a cloth towel for several hours.
After drying, put the blueberries in a jar to store in the fridge.
You can use any jar with a lid to store blueberries or other berries.
Put a paper towel in the jar to absorb excess moisture.
