It's revealed that Rob told Frankie that his mom would go to jail if he told the truth. This is why Jess didn't say what happened.

The case against Jess is closed. The friends meet up for a picnic to celebrate the baby's birthday.

The TV show is different from the book. The book says that one of Jess's friends hurt the baby.

In the book, Charlotte visits Jess's house when Jess is out. She tries to help Frankie with the baby, but the baby gets hurt.

According to the book, Frankie pushes Charlotte, and she drops the baby. Then she panics and doesn't get help.
