A big UK travel company has stopped operating and all trips are cancelled.

All holiday packages booked with Simply Florida Travel Ltd are cancelled because the company stopped working.

The company, based in Glasgow, sold holiday packages to many places like Disneyland and New York City. It asked to be removed from the company list on October 13, 2025, and was officially closed on January 6. It stopped selling flights on January 20.

The Air Travel Organisers' Licensing scheme helps protect customers if a travel company closes. It is run by the Civil Aviation Authority.

Many other UK travel companies have closed recently.

Simply Florida Travel Ltd sold holidays to America, including Disney World.

This news comes after a big fish and chip shop company was saved from closing.

Henry Nuttall, the fish and chip shop company, was started in 1865 and has been selling equipment for 161 years. It had financial problems and the owner died, so it went into administration.

The company's future is now safe.

The company was bought by another company, and all 11 jobs were saved. This will help the business in the long term.

Henry Nuttall started in a small shop in Rochdale. After the war, it grew and many new chip shops used its equipment.

The company moved to a new place in Rochdale in the 1930s and is now in Sheffield.
