Now 17, he has signed with the Philadelphia Phillies for 2026.
For Crotty, this is a dream come true.
He and his mum were thrilled when they got the call. It was a special moment for them.

She paid for things so he and his brothers could play baseball.
She gave him more than just money.
She was always there for him, through good and bad times.
Crotty had a shoulder injury in 2024 and couldn't play for six months.
Baseball is a family sport.
His late father loved baseball too.
Crotty wears number 43 to remember his dad.
The number reminds him of his dad's age when he died.
Having his dad's number is special for him.
Crotty is a pitcher and can throw very fast.
He needs to get even faster to play in the top US leagues.
His brother Eddie is very proud of him.

He played for Australia in 2024.

Crotty will train in the Dominican Republic soon.
