Cambodia Allows Chinese Tourists to Visit Without a Visa

Cambodia has a new program for Chinese tourists. They can visit without a visa until October 15.

Tourists can visit many times during this trial period.

The Tourism Minister wants over 600,000 Chinese visitors in four months. He hopes for 1.2 million visitors this year.

The minister said Cambodia is ready to give tourists a warm welcome and good services.

Most foreign tourists in Cambodia come from China. There were 331,199 Chinese visitors from January to April.

Cambodia wants to get back the number of Chinese tourists it had before the pandemic.

In 2025, Cambodia had 1.2 million Chinese tourists. This is up from 850,000 in 2024.

However, this is still lower than the 2.36 million Chinese tourists in 2019.

Other countries like Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore also let Chinese tourists visit without a visa.
