0:00YouTube is deleting channels, deleting
0:02videos, comments, views on videos,
0:06issuing warnings and strike, and
0:08demonetizing
0:10channels. I just checked a channel I
0:12used to watch their videos. This channel
0:14has over 500,000 subscribers, and the
0:18channel is gone. YouTube deleted it.
0:20Now, before you panic, this video is
0:23designed to show you what you can do to
0:26avoid your channel from being
0:28demonetized, deleted, or you getting
0:31banned. Everything you need to know
0:33about staying safe on YouTube. So, in
0:35this video, we will talk about what
0:37YouTube is up to. We talk about six
0:40things that when you do them, you will
0:42get deleted or YouTube will give you
0:44community strike. We're going to talk
0:46about the difference between community
0:48strike and copyright strike. These are
0:50two different things. You need to
0:52understand them to know what to do to
0:54avoid each and every one of them. In
0:56fact, I'm going to show you how many
0:58strikes you need to get before your
0:59channel is deleted. I will walk you
1:01through five smart things you need to do
1:03right now as a small creator. And if you
1:05stay to the end of this video, I'm going
1:07to give you set of advice that nobody
1:09has ever given to you when it comes to
1:11staying safe on YouTube and not having
1:13issues. Now I will wrap it up with my
1:15own story because I am a victim too. So
1:19first, what is YouTube up to? Why is
1:21YouTube deleting channels and giving
1:23community strikes anyhow? Well, YouTube
1:25is sanitizing the platform. They are
1:26cleaning up this space to make it a safe
1:28space for you and I. They want to make
1:31sure that people who come here to watch
1:32videos enjoy it without having issues.
1:35So recently I watched a video here where
1:38a creator exposed a YouTuber who is a
1:40scammer. This is a creator who is using
1:43YouTube to scam people. Now let's talk
1:46about getting deleted on YouTube. The
1:48things that when you do them, YouTube
1:50will delete your channel, give you
1:51community strike warning and all of
1:53that. The first one is including shady
1:57websites, linking people, directing
1:59people to website that are shady,
2:01website that are designed to collect
2:03data. You know website that are not
2:05genuine. When you do this, YouTube
2:08detects it. Your channel will be
2:10deleted. Sometimes they don't even go
2:13through the friendly route of, you know,
2:15informing you, giving you warning. They
2:16outrightly delete the channel. This big
2:19creator that was deleted recently, he
2:22has a couple of videos where he directs
2:25people to websites, shady websites. You
2:27know those make $1,000 a day, make $500
2:30without doing anything kind of website.
2:32They eventually put the link and then it
2:34takes you to a website that when you
2:36follow through, they will end up
2:38gathering data about you and then might
2:40end up scamming you. That's basically
2:42what this channel does. Creating videos
2:45that are too good to be
2:47true. The second thing that will get
2:49your channel deleted is scamming people.
2:52Making videos, content that are designed
2:53to scam people, do this and get this.
2:56When you create such content, YouTube
2:58will delete your channel without
2:59warning. The third thing that will get
3:01your channel deleted or give you
3:03copyright strike is bogus claim. You
3:05know those claims that are too good to
3:07be true. A lot of creators do that,
3:09especially those in the make money
3:11online niche. They promise you to make
3:14$10,000 in just one month doing nothing.
3:16You just wake up in the morning and the
3:18money is in your account. When you make
3:20such big claims, YouTube is going to
3:22flag those videos. They are going to
3:24delete those videos. So if you're in
3:27this niche, you need to be very careful.
3:28I also know of another channel that got
3:31up to 30,000 subscribers. The channel
3:33grew really fast and all of a sudden the
3:35channel is gone, deleted. The next
3:37important thing that can get your
3:38channel deleted, give you community
3:40strike or warning, is violating YouTube
3:43community guidelines. YouTube has a set
3:45of rules that guide a platform. If you
3:48want to stay on this platform, make
3:50content, enjoy your audience, make money
3:52from your videos, you really need to
3:54follow the guidelines. When you violate
3:56YouTube community guideline, depending
3:58on the level of your offense, you can
4:01actually get warning, get strike, get
4:04deleted, I mean delete the video or even
4:06the channel gets
4:07deleted. So the next thing that will get
4:10you in trouble on YouTube is spamming
4:12people. When you spam people, depending
4:15on the gravity of your offense, the
4:17comments might be deleted, the video
4:19deleted, or the channel itself deleted.
4:22I watched a video recently of someone
4:24talking about how a creator spam.
4:26According to this creator, someone drops
4:28a comment on this particular person's
4:31video. She goes on to reply to the
4:34comment up to 300, 400, 500 times.
4:37According to her, she replies to her own
4:38videos several times, all in the name of
4:41getting engagement metrics, getting a
4:43lot of comments on her videos. And
4:45YouTube deleted the comments and deleted
4:47the channel. The next thing that will
4:49get your YouTube channel deleted is
4:50copyright violation. When you steal
4:53people's content without acknowledging
4:55them or without their consent, whether
4:57it's picture, video clip, even if it's
4:59one minute video clip, when you use it
5:01on your video without permission, you
5:03can actually get copyright strike. How
5:06many strikes does it take to get your
5:08channel deleted? Three times your
5:10channel will be deleted. So, this is how
5:13it works. When you violate the rule,
5:15you're going to get a warning. And this
5:16warning is meant to last for 90 days. In
5:19this 90 days, if you have repeated
5:21warning and strikes, YouTube will just
5:24go on and delete your channel. Now,
5:26let's talk about the difference between
5:27copyright strike and community strike.
5:30Community strike happens when you
5:32violate YouTube's rules. So, YouTube has
5:35a set of guidelines. When you violate
5:37any of them, you'll be given a warning
5:39and then eventually a strike which will
5:42go after 90 days if you follow the
5:45directions given to you. But copyright
5:47strike is a leg matter. That is taking
5:49somebody's content without their
5:51approval, without their consent, whether
5:53is picture, whether is video clip,
5:56whatever it is, if you lift another
5:58person's content and use it on your
5:59videos and the person sees it, they
6:01going to claim copyright on the video or
6:04the content. And this will get you
6:07strike and eventually deleted. This
6:10alone can cost you a lot of things
6:11depending on what whoever's content you
6:14are using once. Some of them would
6:16actually want you to pay them. Some of
6:18them would want you to just take it down
6:19and everything is okay. So you need to
6:21be very careful. So let's talk about
6:23five things you need to do right now to
6:24stay away from problem. The first one is
6:27to do a deep cleaning of your videos.
6:30Clean up your older videos. If you've
6:32been making videos on how to make money
6:33online and there are a couple of videos
6:35you think are not okay, I'll advise you
6:37go back to your videos and delete those
6:40videos because if you don't, YouTube
6:41will eventually get there. And YouTube
6:43deleting those videos means you're going
6:44to get either warning or strike
6:46depending on the gravity of your
6:48offense. Next one is avoid making bogus
6:51claims. You know those claims that are
6:52too good to be true. I'm going to teach
6:54you how to make $1,000 in 24 hours. Make
6:57money without doing anything. YouTube
6:59frowns at such videos. The next thing is
7:01to stop adding shady links to your
7:04videos. Now, if there are links you've
7:06been adding to your videos that are
7:08spammy, that are shady, that are
7:10designed to extract people's data, you
7:13need to stop. It doesn't matter what the
7:14website is or what they are selling
7:15there. If you're not very sure of the
7:17website and what they do, stop adding
7:20them to your videos because that alone
7:21can get your videos and your channel
7:23deleted. The next thing you can do is to
7:25use Gemini to review your videos. Gemini
7:28is owned by Google and Google owns
7:31YouTube. So using this AI to review your
7:35videos to find out if there's potential
7:36violation in the video and remove it
7:39before you upload the video is one way
7:41of being proactive. And finally, if you
7:44have the strike, if for any reason you
7:46eventually get the strike, this is what
7:48you would do. Go on as soon as possible
7:50to go through the training YouTube is
7:52going to offer you. So when YouTube
7:54issues a strike or a warning, they
7:57usually make you to go through a mini
8:00training where you are meant to see the
8:03rule you violated, asking you some
8:05questions that you're meant to answer.
8:06This whole thing is designed to let you
8:08see the rule you violated. And going
8:10through this training is about 20
8:12minutes um training. So, as soon as
8:14you're done going through this stage, um
8:15it's going to be considered that you've
8:17taken the lessons and then for the next
8:2090 days, the warning or the strike is
8:22going to be on your channel until the
8:24expiration date, it goes away. Finally,
8:27my story. I'm actually a victim. Couple
8:29of months ago, I uploaded a video that's
8:32meant to teach you how to do some
8:34things. At the end of that upload,
8:36YouTube considered that video not so
8:38good, like something that has potential
8:40of violating community guidelines. So
8:42they withheld the video and they gave me
8:45a warning. So it was actually a warning
8:47because I've never violated any of the
8:49rules before and I was meant to go
8:51through this training for 20 good
8:53minutes. I was answering the questions.
8:55It took me three good months, 90 days
8:57before they removed that warning. Nobody
9:00is above mistakes or violations. You
9:02should avoid it. But if you eventually
9:04find yourself in there, go on and take
9:06actions immediately. I hope this helps.
9:08Please give this video a thumbs up. See
9:10you in my next
