He is a famous indie star who had many fans in the 2000s, but can you recognize him now?
Fran Healy, the lead singer of Travis, surprised fans with a new look at a festival in Colombia.
Fran became famous over 20 years ago and is known for hits like Why Does It Always Rain On Me? and Sing. Travis was very popular in the 1990s and early 2000s.
Fran changed his red hair to a bleached look and wore a blue sweater and glasses on stage. He performed with his bandmates at a festival in Colombia.
Fran has been the lead singer of Travis since 1991.
Other performers at the festival included The Killers and Swedish House Mafia. Travis performed with The Killers and had their own show on Sunday.
Fran was born in Stafford, but grew up in Glasgow where he formed Travis in 1991. The band is still performing and will have shows in South America.
Despite taking breaks, Travis never broke up. They released a new album in 2024, which Fran mostly wrote.
Fran, 52, has a new look now.
When not performing, Fran lives in Los Angeles with his wife, a German photographer.
Fran and his wife split up in 2019 after 23 years together. They have a 20-year-old son who studies art in New York and has his own band.
Fran's best friend died of cancer in 2021, and the band also changed their manager. Fran said it was a difficult time, but things got better.
Fran said changing their manager was a powerful moment for the band.
Last year, Fran hurt his ankle during a performance in the US and had to go to the hospital, but it was not broken.
