Rivington is a six-year-old rescue dog. He was abandoned and almost put down. Now, he lives with Clare, who helps dogs find their forever homes. Rivington has been waiting for a permanent home since 2021. He recently had urgent dental surgery because one of his teeth was broken.

In a video, Rivi can be seen crawling to Clare, looking for comfort because he was scared she would leave him like his old owner did.
Clare wrote on the video: 'My foster dog, who was abandoned, woke up from surgery and crawled to me to make sure I didn't leave him.'
Clare said: 'Rivington is very loyal. If he loves you, he loves you with all his heart.'
