I tried a cheap all-inclusive holiday in Turkey for £510

Some people who stayed at the hotel said there were a lot of flies. One person said the food was left out and flies were landing on it. Many people got sick. Another guest said their bed was covered in black flies.
Ed thought the holiday was worth the risk because it was very cheap. He paid £510 for five days in Turkey, including flights and meals.
When Ed got to his room, he was surprised to find two single beds and a sofa. He didn't expect this.
The room didn't look very nice. Ed said it looked like someone was trying to cover up a crime.
The bed was very firm, but Ed slept well. The minibar fridge was old and leaking water.
Ed said the fridge was not healthy and was leaking water. He was not happy with it.
Ed knew the holiday was cheap, so he didn't expect everything to be perfect.
Ed was happy with the holiday overall. A staff member showed him around and introduced him to other guests.
The breakfast was not very good. The scrambled eggs were not nice, and the baked beans were hard.
Ed thought the holiday was very good value. He said the flights would normally cost £200, so he was paying £300 for the hotel and food.
Ed went to a nearby town to find a restaurant. He saw some fake shops with names like John Lewis and 7-Eleven.
Ed found a restaurant called Barracuda that served a three-course meal for £34. He thought it was a bit expensive, but the food was good.
The next day, Ed went back to the hotel for food. The selection was not very good, and the food was not hot.
There was some broccoli, but it was watery. Ed also had some chicken wings.
Ed got a bit of food poisoning the next day. He didn't know which meal had made him sick.
Ed checked out the hotel's entertainment. It was just a DJ playing music, and Ed was not impressed.
The entertainment was not very good. Ed said it was just music playing, and there was no DJ.
Ed said the holiday was good value for the price. He paid £510, and £210 of that was for flights.
Ed said the hotel needed to improve the entertainment. He suggested they should have a TV to show football matches.
Most of the guests were British, and there was a World Cup on. Ed thought it was obvious that they should have a TV.
Ed said the food could be better. It needed to be hotter and have more variety.
Ed said the room was not very clean and needed new furniture. But he thought it was okay for the price.
Ed liked the views from the hotel. He thought the holiday was a very good deal, and he had eaten and drunk about £300 worth of food and drink.
