0:00Welcome back to new video, guys. Today
0:01we're learning English while shopping at
0:04a flea market. Can't think of cameras,
0:06deals here, your turtleneck, a bomber
0:08jacket, a jewelry store for us, a
0:10cardigan with shrinks, fleece,
0:12coveralls, suit, dig in the star of the
0:15show. Start the word count and let's go.
0:18We're going to try to find five
0:19different items. A trench coat, a
0:22cardigan, a turtleneck, overalls, and
0:24the last thing we're looking for is a
0:26bomber jacket. We'll try to find that
0:28today. So here they have a lot of belts.
0:30>> What about some genuine Oakleys?
0:31>> So a flea market is just a market where
0:33you can buy really cheap items or
0:35cheaper items. They're not necessarily
0:37lower quality, but they are cheaper. And
0:39they also sell like all different kinds
0:40of items like electronics, clothes,
0:43bikes, parts. They sell pretty much
0:45anything you could think of. Pots and
0:47pans. Let's try to look for those five
0:49items. You'll only know what those items
0:52look like when I find them. So if I
0:53don't find them, this guy just sells
0:55socks. Lots and lots and lots of socks.
0:58We're not actually looking for these,
1:00but this is a fedora hatch. I used to
1:02have one when I was younger, but it's
1:03not really my style.
1:04>> Are you sure?
1:05>> Who even wears fedora hats?
1:07>> You did when you were younger.
1:08>> Italians who historically where it came
1:10from. Fedora hat.
1:11>> I think it was like Italians like the
1:13mob and stuff.
1:13>> Yeah. I don't know. I feel like that's
1:15like an Italian thing. I'm not sure
1:16though.
1:17>> Oh, look at these cameras.
1:18>> Oh, cameras.
1:19>> You think that's better than what we're
1:20running?
1:20>> These are like film cameras, eh?
1:22>> Yeah. Oh, no. They're digital cameras,
1:24>> are they?
1:24>> Yeah. They got a little GoPro session
1:26there. Look at this little Samsung
1:28camera.
1:28>> Oh, and they have like what? A DVD
1:30player. So, you can put a DVD in here
1:31and watch it from right there.
1:33>> Yep.
1:33>> Wow. I've never seen that.
1:35>> Oh, and a PSP. That's
1:36>> That is crazy. Why would you want to
1:38actually play games or just as like a
1:39souvenir? You never even played PSP when
1:41you were younger.
1:42>> Did we ever have one?
1:43>> No, never. We had a Wii. A Wii is just
1:46like a gaming console and a PSP is also
1:48a gaming console, but it's like
1:49portable. Okay, here they have the piles
1:50of clothes. I wanted to see this. I
1:52think you get good deals here. You just
1:53like have to search through it and grab
1:55something. Oh,
1:56>> find your size.
1:57>> Check out this. I might be able to find
1:58the bomber jacket here. Oh, they got my
2:00rain jacket.
2:01>> Yeah, you could wear that in the rain.
2:02>> Ooh, almost a cardigan. They have like
2:05piles and piles of clothes and these are
2:07a lot cheaper, but you could also go to
2:08like stores that are more organized and
2:11those are a little bit more expensive.
2:12>> Girl, there's piles everywhere and but
2:14most of them are on hangers. Like you
2:16see these, you can get a North Face
2:18jacket.
2:18>> I wonder where all this clothes even
2:20comes from. Do people like donate this
2:21stuff? Dude, people in Korea get new
2:23clothes every season, so it's got to go
2:25somewhere.
2:25>> I wonder if I could find a rain jacket.
2:27I don't know if it'll be real, though.
2:28There are a lot of fakes here. Oh,
2:30there's the turtleneck. That one right
2:32there. The neck is folded. Yeah, with
2:33the heart. The neck is folded up right
2:34now, but usually with a turtleneck, the
2:36neck is folded down and it comes up high
2:38and it folds down. But that's a
2:40turtleneck. Okay, one down. The car
2:42heart hoodies
2:43>> and leave.
2:44>> That's kind of like a bomber jacket.
2:45>> Yeah, I'd say so.
2:46>> Oh, no. That's a bomber jacket.
2:48>> Oh, yeah. Those are all
2:48>> Actually, this is kind of a sick jacket.
2:50That is a bomber jacket. Like literally
2:52exactly what a bomber jacket is. This is
2:54similar to a bomber jacket, but that's a
2:56bomber jacket, but I like this. It's a
2:58little small though. Oh, dude, look at
2:59these bags. That's like kind of nice.
3:01>> Yeah, it looks like they recycled it.
3:02>> Oh, that Patagonia fleece,
3:04>> dude. Stone Islands is weight. And they
3:06got a Monontlair jacket, dude. And they
3:08got the Prada back there,
3:09>> bro. They got everything, dude. They got
3:10all the jackets. All right.
3:12>> They got Gortex there. Is that what you
3:13need?
3:13>> Yeah. I keep seeing uh videos of people
3:15on TikTok that bought Gortex jackets
3:17from Vietnam. They test it out if it's
3:18waterproof. It's like waterproof for
3:20like the first three wees and then after
3:22that completely normal jacket. Okay, so
3:24we found two items. The bomber jacket
3:25and the turtleneck.
3:27>> Okay, what's left then?
3:28>> The trench coat.
3:30>> Wait, you have a trench coat on right
3:31now?
3:31>> No. Trench coat has a belt usually.
3:33>> Oh,
3:34>> I mean you can consider this a trench
3:35coat, too. But we're looking for the
3:36trench coat, the overalls, and the
3:39cardigan. I want to find like a maybe a
3:41t-shirt here.
3:42>> We've explored like 1% of it so far.
3:44Place is massive. It just keeps going.
3:46>> T-shirt would be cool. Or like a
3:47sweatshirt. I think you should do that
3:49at one of the enclosed stores cuz I
3:50found some cool stuff here last time.
3:52>> Yeah,
3:55that's not bad. Spa thoughts? Oh,
3:58there's a big stain on it. There is a
4:00big stain. Hoodies, jackets. Oh, there's
4:03Pikachu. You can dig through this, maybe
4:05find like some really cool stuff, but I
4:07feel like it's just a lot of stuff to go
4:08through.
4:09>> This looks familiar. I think there are
4:10some stores down here I've stopped by
4:12last time.
4:13>> Yeah, let's go down here then.
4:14>> Oh, look at this uh jersey store. Oh,
4:17those are I think that's rugby.
4:19>> Oh, is it?
4:20>> Yeah.
4:20>> And maybe racing cuz I see four.
4:23>> Those are racing jackets.
4:24>> Oh, here's a jewelry store. Real gold
4:26chains.
4:26>> Bling. Oh, this is where you'd find your
4:28bomber jacket at the military store.
4:31>> Yeah. Oh, there's bomber jacket.
4:32>> Have you ever seen that photo guy on
4:34Instagram named Blleg?
4:35>> Bleg?
4:36>> Yeah.
4:37>> I don't know.
4:37>> He's like a million followers. He just
4:39takes
4:39>> What does he do?
4:40>> He took a picture of the guy at that
4:41stall cuz he had his photo up there.
4:43>> Oh, did he?
4:43>> Yeah. With that balloon thing
4:45>> and then he gives it to the master.
4:46Yeah, I've never seen that.
4:48>> He learns like the language and like
4:49tries to speak with them in their
4:51language,
4:52>> but he's not like fluent.
4:53>> No, he's like American.
4:54>> While I was editing this video, I
4:56noticed how much cleaner my pacing has
4:59gotten compared to my older videos. I've
5:01been using Skillshare again, and this
5:03time I took the in-depth Cap Cut video
5:06editing master class. One thing I
5:08learned was how to tighten every cut to
5:11the beat instead of leaving small
5:14pauses, and it instantly made my edits
5:16feel smoother. What I like about
5:19Skillshare is that the classes are
5:20taught by real working creatives like
5:23filmmakers, designers, and photographers
5:26who actually use these techniques every
5:28day. I usually watch a short lesson,
5:31then apply it right away, and you can
5:33already see the difference in this
5:34video. They have classes on everything,
5:37including English, from pronunciation
5:40practice to advanced communication. So,
5:42you can improve your speaking while
5:44building creative skills. The first 500
5:47people to use my link in the description
5:50or scan my QR code will receive a one
5:53month free trial of Skillshare. So, get
5:55started today. Thank you Skillshare for
5:57sponsoring today's video. Now, let's get
5:59back into the video. That thing looks
6:01sick. Definitely won't fit me, but look
6:03at that leather. What is that? Like
6:05>> a snake skin.
6:06>> No, that's that's crocodile.
6:07>> Crocodile.
6:08>> That looks really cool. Oh, maybe we
6:10could get a a snack. I think this is
6:11just coffee, but they probably have food
6:13here.
6:14>> Yeah, they got the OG's.
6:16>> They have the the vests. This is a vest.
6:19There's a blue uh Canada goose vest
6:22there. And here's another vest. A vest.
6:25Oh, we got the cardigan. I think you
6:26could count this as a cardigan, but I
6:28want to find a better looking cardigan.
6:30This is like a cropped cardigan. Cropped
6:32means it's cut short so you can see your
6:34stomach usually. Oh yeah. Here's another
6:37cardigan. This cardigan is longer. It's
6:40longer. So, it's not cropped. It's not
6:42normal. It's longer.
6:45Yeah. This is what a cardigan is. It
6:47kind of has that V-neck and then in the
6:49middle it's open. Usually, there are no
6:51buttons. These ones have buttons, but uh
6:53that's what a cardigan is. I don't know
6:55if you heard the audio from last time,
6:56but hopefully you a This is a trench
6:58coat. A trench coat has a belt. This is
7:01similar to a trench coat, but there's no
7:02belt. But a trench coat has a belt and
7:04also it's more made for rain and wind,
7:06whereas this is meant to keep you warm.
7:08Trench coat. Oh. Oh. Oh. With the
7:12matching sweatshirt. Is this drip? And I
7:14do actually I do like buying secondhand
7:16clothes because when you buy brand new
7:18clothes, it always shrinks. Not always,
7:20depending on what kind of quality you
7:21get, but usually the clothes shrink.
7:23When you buy secondhand clothes, it's
7:24already been washed many, many times, so
7:26it doesn't shrink. So, I like buying,
7:28you know, used clothes. All these are so
7:30long.
7:31>> Oh, they they have the CCTV cameras in
7:34operation.
7:34>> Yeah, they're watching you.
7:36>> Everything is so long. Is it just me or
7:37all this stuff is like so long, ladies?
7:40>> Yeah, let's bounce. We just have the
7:42overalls to look for. Those are going to
7:44be really hard. Those are going to be
7:45the hardest to find. But this is another
7:47part of the flea market where they're
7:48not necessarily selling clothes but more
7:50like really random items like a suitcase
7:53but also with pots with a golf club set
7:56with a antique phone with kimchi. Bro,
8:00>> where do they find this stuff?
8:01>> Dude, that is that is funny. I love
8:02that. Like so so random. Let's walk down
8:04this way cuz the wind is really cold. My
8:07guy is pushing an office chair.
8:09>> It's his shopping cart.
8:10>> Yeah, I guess it is his shopping cart.
8:12Maybe he just bought it. Let's see what
8:13she's selling here. Some wallets, some
8:16gloves, oh, some toques, belts, watches,
8:20oh, a magnifying glass, electric
8:22toothbrushes, some bike helmets back
8:24there, phone cases, and then a bunch of
8:27other random stuff, I think. Yeah, some
8:29charging bricks.
8:30>> Holy.
8:31>> Some portable power banks. Okay, so
8:33these right here are fleece. These are
8:36all fleece. That's just the material and
8:38the type of jacket. This is fleece.
8:40These are all fleece jackets. So, we
8:42just found a whole bunch of trench
8:44coats. Like, all of these are trench
8:46coats. The belt, the material, all of
8:49these are trench coats. Green trench
8:50coats, black trench coats, beige trench
8:53coats, gray trench coats, leather trench
8:55coats. This is the trench coat corner.
8:58All of these are trench coats. But we
8:59still have not found the overalls. Those
9:02are going to be really hard. I don't
9:03know if we can do that. So, they do have
9:06these, but these are coveralls.
9:08Coveralls because your whole body is
9:10covered. coveralls. We're looking for
9:12overalls very similar to this, but it's
9:14not the same. And here there are a bunch
9:16of leather jackets. 80,0001. How much is
9:18this one? 100,0001. We have found the
9:21overalls right here. Well, this is like
9:23a skirt overall, but these I believe are
9:25the normal overalls. Yep. So, they were
9:28similar to those coveralls, but it's
9:30pretty much pants, but then it has
9:32shoulder straps that come up and you
9:34wear it like that. Overalls. And we
9:36found a bunch of overalls. Here's
9:37another pair. Here's another pair. These
9:39are like overall skirts. What we found?
9:41We found all five items. You know what
9:44that means? That means we can go and eat
9:46lunch. So, come with us to eat lunch.
9:48We're gonna have a very special meal.
9:50So, let's go there after we're done
9:51looking around. I still am looking for a
9:53hoodie or a sweater. Either one. So,
9:55let's keep on looking for that. Those
9:57are silks. And I think that's pig skin.
9:59>> Uh hana
10:01kimchi. Kimchi.
10:04>> She said uh kimchi because that's like
10:06cheese. That's how you say cheese in uh
10:07>> Oh, is it
10:08>> like when you know how people say cheese
10:09for the camera?
10:10>> Yeah,
10:11>> they say kimchi here. They also have pig
10:13skin over there and then the rice drink,
10:15but it tastes good. It's super like soft
10:16and delicate.
10:19>> We're going to go eat some Korean beef
10:21soup. That rib soup is also good, but
10:23I'm going to have the Korean beef soup.
10:24Let's go in here.
10:25>> Yeah, I want a soup. So, this is the
10:26place to be.
10:31>> We just uh decided to come for lunch
10:33here. This restaurant is really popular,
10:35really famous for their their meat and
10:37their beef. So, we've decided to get two
10:39Korean beef soups. Beef soup or beef
10:41stew? What was it? I think soup.
10:42>> Beef soup.
10:43>> Yeah. 10,0001 uh each. So, that's about
10:46a little bit less than 10 Canadian
10:48dollars and probably about like 6 to 7
10:50USD. But yeah, we're going to have that
10:52for lunch. It's about 1:00 p.m. right
10:54now. 1:00 p.m. or 1:00 in the afternoon,
10:56you could say. And I just poured myself
10:58and Leon some water. So, that's his cup.
11:00And I really like the cups in Korea,
11:02honestly. They're like these metal cups.
11:04They are pretty small. Yeah. But they
11:06also give you this jug of water, this
11:08container of water. So you can easily
11:10just refill your cup.
11:16Very, very, very refreshing. But this
11:18restaurant is super busy. There are a
11:21lot of people. We didn't end up actually
11:22buying anything from Dongo Market. We
11:24just uh we just walked around and we
11:26found those five items. So, can you guys
11:28remember it? What is this item? What is
11:31this item?
11:33What is this item?
11:35What is this item? And what is this
11:38item?
11:39Did you guys get them all right? Let me
11:41know. Turtleneck, cardigan, bomber
11:43jacket, trench coat. Those are all the
11:45items that we found and that you learned
11:48specifically.
11:50But now we'll wait for our food and uh
11:53we'll show you guys what we're eating.
11:54Okay guys, so we just got our food. It
11:56was boiling earlier, but it's not
11:58boiling anymore. But it was boiling.
12:00like it was really really hot because
12:01this bowl is made of stone and it's
12:04super hot and that's why they give it to
12:05you in this plate so that you don't burn
12:07yourself. We got a bowl of rice there.
12:09Here we have the sides, kimchi, radish
12:11kimchi and uh a salad. And then here is
12:14the star of the show. Here is the Korean
12:18beef soup. Looks super good. Korean beef
12:20soup. It's just steaming. It's so hot.
12:22Let's uh give this a try. Let's dig in.
12:24So, I'm going to get some soup, my
12:26spoon, and I'm going to blow it cuz it's
12:28very, very hot.
12:33Ooh. Yeah. Very good. I really like soup
12:36and right now it's like the best time to
12:37eat soups because it's so cold outside.
12:40Like we were freezing, eh?
12:41>> Yeah, it was chilly.
12:42>> Yeah, especially that wind, man. That
12:43wind just like it just cuts you. Like my
12:45ears get frozen. I don't know about you,
12:47but my ears get frozen. Let's try the
12:49kimchi.
12:51Last but not least, the star of the
12:53show. The star of the show, the beef.
12:57Looks very tender. It looks very tender,
13:00very soft. Oh yeah,
13:05I like that a lot. This is the perfect
13:07thing to get when it's cold out. And
13:09we're going to dig right into this,
13:10finish it all, eat it, and we'll see you
13:12guys after. The most important part of
13:14learning a language. And the reason why
13:16everyone learns a language is to be able
13:18to speak the language. These videos help
13:21you with your listening. But how can you
13:23practice your speaking even more? You
13:25need to practice by shadowing. Shadowing
13:28is just repeating after a native English
13:30speaker to practice your pronunciation,
13:33your accent, and your confidence. And
13:35I've started making videos specifically
13:37just to practice those three things. So,
13:40if you guys want to become more
13:42confident in English and become truly
13:44fluent, check out my Patreon in the
13:46description where I give you guys three
13:48new videos every week to practice your
13:50pronunciation, your accent, and most
13:53importantly, your confidence. I'll see
13:56you guys there. We are going to be
13:57learning English as I clean up my
14:00pronunciation, your accent, your rhythm,
14:03and your confidence. It was just a
14:05roundabout way of her politely trying to
14:08spare my feelings. The a-hole for giving
14:10all of my co-workers a different reason
14:13for why I have missing fingers so I
14:16wouldn't take legal came down to he
14:18companywide training on his behavior. He
14:20chooses not. But I was already so
14:22cranky.
14:25Okay, so we're in uh I did so much
14:27shopping in Mushima. The jeans and one
14:30hoodie, which I
14:32this lesson I want you to shadow. So, a
14:34flea market is just a market. Anything
14:36you could think of.
14:37>> Oh, look at these cameras.
14:38>> I think you get good deals here. You
14:40just like have to search through.
14:41There's the turtleneck. That one right
14:42there. That is a bomber jacket. Like
14:44literally
14:45>> place is massive. It just keeps going.
14:46>> Here's a jewelry store. Real gold
14:48chains.
14:49>> Here's another vest. A vest. Here's
14:51another cardigan. This cardigan is
14:53longer. This is a trench coat. A trench
14:55coat has a belt. Brand new clothes, it
14:57always shrinks. Not always. These right
14:59here are fleece. These are all fleece,
15:01but these are coveralls. Coveralls. We
15:04have found the overalls right here.
15:06Korean beef soup. Beef soup or beef
15:08stew. Five items. Let's dig in. The star
15:11of the show. The star of the show. And
15:14remember guys, you will become fluent in
15:16English. Bye guys.
