1:09The lions killed one cub.
1:13But there's still hope
for the other two.
1:32She scans the perimeter
of the marsh cautiously.

still be lurking.
2:02If her cubs are
in the area, they
2:04should hear her contact calls.
2:10But there is no response.
2:27As night falls, hope dwindles.
2:41The cheetah mother continues
for search for cubs
2:48It has been 24 hours
and still nothing.
2:58She picks up a
scent, leading away
3:01from where she last saw them,
toward the edge of the marsh.
3:07Then suddenly, she
hears a familiar sound.
3:11One survivor, then
two, both luckier
3:16than their little brother.
3:29They had their first
serious brush with danger.
