Transfers over the limit go through regular clearing. Transactions after 3:55 pm are processed the next day. This is what the bank said.

MSB made this change to follow State Bank of Vietnam rules and make the system safer.

Before, banks could split large transfers into smaller ones for instant processing.

Other banks like Eximbank Vietnam, TPBank, and VPBank are doing the same.

This change happened because of new rules from November 2025. Transactions over $20,000 must be handled differently, taking longer to process.
