I made banana bread in the oven and air fryer – one was softer and tastier

When I buy bananas, one often gets old before I eat it. This old banana can make two small banana breads.
I like adding dark chocolate to my banana bread, but nuts or raisins are also good.
My banana bread recipe is easy because it doesn't need a special mixer. I just need a bowl, a fork, and a spatula.
I usually bake banana bread in the oven, but many people now use the air fryer. I wanted to see which way is better.
I put half of the banana bread mix in the air fryer and half in the oven.
I divided the mix equally between the air fryer and oven.
The air fryer made a good banana bread.
I often use the air fryer for savory food, but not for sweet things like cakes.
I put half of the mix in a small tin and heated the air fryer to 150C.
I cooked the banana bread in the air fryer for over 20 minutes. For small tins, check after 15 minutes. Then I let it cool.
The air fryer banana bread was good, but the top was a bit hard. The chocolate got a bit burnt.
The inside was soft, but not as moist as I like.
The oven banana bread was very moist and melted in my mouth.
The air fryer banana bread was a bit dry.
I heated the oven to 160C and put the second banana bread in.
The banana bread baked for over 25 minutes. I checked it after 20 minutes.
The oven banana bread looked great, with melted chocolate.
The top was soft and the inside was very moist. The chocolate tasted great.
The oven is better for banana bread, but the air fryer is faster.
