Drag Queen School Board Vice President Arrested for Child Pornography

A school board vice president in New York was arrested for bad actions with children.
Travis Barr Longo, 46, was arrested for sending bad messages to a child under 12. He is on the school board and faces four charges for putting children in danger.
Longo went to federal court on Saturday for having child pornography. The school district is in the middle of New York state.
Police found many bad images and videos on Longo's phone. They included videos of babies being hurt, which Longo got from other users on the internet.
There was another bad story about a school board member in New Jersey.

Police found chats on Longo's phone where he talked about his interest in children. This included a boy he knew and had access to.
If Longo is found guilty, he will have to go to prison for at least five years.
Longo was elected to the school board in May 2024.
Longo often talked about his stage name, Anita Buffem, and said he was the first drag performer on a school board.
The school board asked Longo to quit after they found out about the charges. He quit on Monday evening.
