National Assembly to Meet in August

The top legislator said this at the end of the third session of the National Assembly Standing Committee.
He noted that the National Assembly and the Government have a lot of work to do before the end of the year.
The Government has proposed 20 items for the National Assembly to consider, including 17 new laws.
The National Assembly will also consider four major new laws, including a new Land Law and a new Criminal Procedure Code.
There will be 24 items on the agenda for the special meeting.
The top legislator asked the agencies to prepare well and work together to get everything ready on time.
He said that the quality of the laws is more important than the number of laws.
He said that they should not rush to make new laws, but make sure they are good and complete.
The top legislator also asked the agencies to say if the proposed items are ready to be considered.
He asked the agencies to finish the detailed rules for the laws that have already been passed.
The National Assembly also has other important tasks to do, including supervising and meeting with other countries.
The top legislator asked the agencies to work together and use technology to help with their tasks.
