NBA Games Will Overlap for Two Nights

The first two nights of the NBA playoffs will have games at the same time.
On Monday, the 76ers vs. Knicks game will be on NBC and Peacock at 8 p.m. ET. The Timberwolves vs. Spurs game will be on Peacock at 9:30 p.m.
On Tuesday, the Lakers vs. Thunder game will be on NBC and Peacock at 9:30 p.m. The Cavaliers vs. Pistons game will be on Peacock at 7 p.m.

NBA fans are unhappy with the scheduling. For years, games on ESPN and TNT did not overlap.
The NBA partnered with NBC this season. NBC does not want to air games before 8 p.m. ET on weeknights.
Fans need two streaming services, Peacock and Amazon, to watch the second round.
It is getting harder and more expensive to watch live sports at home.
This might cause viewers to stop watching.
Perhaps it already has.
