Make perfect jammy boiled eggs with one simple step

Many people in Britain eat eggs for breakfast. Eggs are a great addition to meals like a full English breakfast or pancakes.
Boiling eggs is an easy way to cook them, but getting the yolk just right can be hard. Hard-boiled and runny eggs are easy, but jammy yolks are trickier.
A food expert shared a simple step to make perfect jammy eggs every time.
The expert says to take the eggs out of the fridge before boiling them. This helps the eggs cook evenly and not crack.
Here's how to make perfect jammy eggs.
If you put a cold egg in boiling water, it might crack. This can affect how the egg cooks and the yolk.
To make jammy eggs, fill a saucepan with water and bring it to a boil.
Then, put the eggs in the boiling water and cook for 8 minutes for a jammy centre.
After 8 minutes, move the eggs to cold water to stop cooking. Then, peel and serve the eggs.
Your boiled eggs will be jammy every time.
For a runny egg, cook for 5 minutes. For a slightly firmer egg, cook for 6 minutes.
A soft-boiled egg with a sticky yolk takes 7 minutes to cook.
For a hard-boiled egg, cook for 10 minutes.
Making a fried egg is also easy. Heat oil in a pan until it shimmers.
Crack the egg into the hot oil and season with salt and pepper. Tilt the pan to cook the egg whites.
Don't touch the yolks so they stay runny. The eggs will be ready in 45 seconds to 1 minute with crisp edges and set whites. Serve immediately.
