There are still good players at Bournemouth, like Alex Scott, who is wanted by Liverpool and Manchester United. But Iraola was told not to sign players from his old club.

Liverpool legend John Barnes said he doesn't want Iraola to bring any Bournemouth players to Liverpool because they are not better than the players Liverpool already has.

John Barnes said Alex Scott might join Liverpool just because Iraola knows him, but he's not sure if Scott is the right player for the team.

Barnes knows that Milos Kerkez had a mixed first season at Liverpool and will still be the first choice left-back after Andy Robertson left.

Liverpool has already signed one player, Victor Munoz, from a different team for £34m.

Liverpool tried to buy Yan Diomande for £86m, but the other team said no. They want to improve their attack and are also looking at another player.
