Corrie Star Tracy Shaw Talks About Her Cancer Fight

Tracy Shaw got emotional on Sunday evening.

Coronation Street star Tracy Shaw cried as she talked about chemotherapy. She has breast cancer and started treatment.

Tracy, who played Maxine Peacock, made a video on Instagram. She said she had no strength and felt very vulnerable.

Tracy said: 'It's day 10 after chemo. I had to go to the hospital again. I've been sleeping a lot. I have thrush and no energy.'

Tracy told fans she had a very tough day.

Tracy cried and said she had no strength left.

Tracy said: 'Chemo kills everything. I feel like a baby with no strength.'

Tracy said: 'It's hard to be around people. I'm very sensitive. I don't like noise. I can't eat or taste anything.'

Tracy's eldest son was away. Her neighbor took her to the hospital. But the chemist didn't have her medicine.

Tracy promised to be honest about her cancer fight.

Tracy played Maxine Peacock on Coronation Street from 1995 to 2003.

Tracy said: 'I'm thankful for the ladies on Instagram. They help me when I go to the hospital.'

Tracy's neighbor Robbie helped her get to the hospital. He went to different chemists to find her medicine.

Tracy said: 'This is something we have to do. I don't know why they don't give us all the medicine we need.'

Tracy said: 'I'm in a lot of pain. I was looking forward to not having to inject anymore.'

Many famous people sent Tracy messages of support, including her former co-stars.

Kym Marsh and Shobna Gulati sent Tracy love and support.

Antony Cotton told Tracy to keep going and sent her love.

Many people, including Daran Little and Harriet Thorpe, sent Tracy well-wishes.
