Vietnam Passport Ranking Goes Down

Vietnam is now 87th, the same as Angola and other countries.

In January, Vietnam was 86th and could visit 49 places without a visa, but in March it was 84th.

In Southeast Asia, Vietnam is better than Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar.

Singapore has the best passport, allowing travel to 192 places without a visa, followed by Japan and others.

The weakest passports are from Pakistan, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan.

The Henley Passport Index checks how free people are to travel to 227 countries and areas.

It ranks 199 passports by how many places people can visit without a visa. The index is updated often to show changes in visa rules and is a key measure of global travel freedom. It helps people know how easy it is to travel.
