Little Disasters: How the Story Ends

The show is based on a book by Sarah Vaughan. It's about four women who become friends when they are pregnant. The story follows Jess, a mother who takes her baby to the hospital with a head injury.
Liz, a doctor and Jess' friend, starts a chain of events that affects their families and friends.
The police and social services get involved, and Jess' friends Mel and Charlotte try to figure out what happened.
Everyone wants to know the truth about what happened to Jess' baby.
In the second-to-last episode, Jess is questioned by the police because she left her children alone.
The episode also shows that someone else was in the house when the baby got hurt.
It was Rob, a character in the show, who accidentally hurt the baby when Jess was not home.
Rob went to Jess' house to talk to her husband about a business idea. He met Jess' son Frankie and tried to help him with the baby.
Rob put the baby on a high surface and looked away. The baby fell, and Rob blamed Frankie and told him to keep quiet.
Frankie was upset and had flashbacks about what happened. He told a social worker that Rob said his mom would go to jail if he told the truth.
The case against Jess is dropped, and her friends have a picnic to celebrate the baby's birthday.
The TV show is different from the book it's based on.
In the book, one of Jess' friends, Charlotte, is the one who hurts the baby.
In the book, Frankie pushes Charlotte, and she drops the baby.
The author of the book said the producers changed the story because they didn't think it was realistic for a woman to leave a hurt baby.
The author thinks there's a double standard between men and women in this situation.
The last episode of Little Disasters is on tonight at 9pm on Channel 5.
