Duke of Marlborough Banned from Driving

Charles James Spencer-Churchill was banned from driving for 28 days for driving 80mph in a 50mph zone.
The duke was not at the hearing and his solicitor said he was guilty of speeding.
The judge said Spencer-Churchill had a clean driving record.
He also has to pay a £200 surcharge and £300 costs.
Spencer-Churchill had another charge, but the prosecution did not continue after his guilty plea.
The duke's family home is the old Blenheim Palace.
He does not own or manage the palace.
