Big Meteor Lights Up Sky Over Tasmania
A big meteor was seen in the sky.
People in Tasmania saw a bright light in the sky last night.
Astronomer Martin George says the object was a natural thing from space.
Dr George says people who saw the meteor were very lucky. He wants everyone to look at the night sky.
The meteor was seen all around Tasmania.
A traffic camera in Launceston caught the meteor on video.
The meteor flashed a few times as it came down.
