Police Arrest People for Robbing 10 Jewelry Stores

Police arrested 7 people for robbing 10 jewelry stores in the Greater Toronto Area.
The police investigation, called Project Pinnacle, looked at robberies from January to March 2026.
A group targeted jewelry stores in many cities, including Burlington and Hamilton. They did this in multiple cities.
The suspects used stolen cars, masks, and hammers to rob the stores and escape with jewelry.
No one was hurt during the robberies.
A stolen car was driven into a building in Burlington, causing damage.
The police chief said the group targeted many communities.
The police are lucky no one was seriously hurt. They are also concerned about violence in other areas.
Some of the people arrested were already out on bail.
It's concerning that some of the offenders were young and already in trouble with the law.
A 21-year-old man from Mississauga was charged with robbery and disguise.
Other suspects from Mississauga and Toronto were also charged.
The police searched homes and found some of the stolen jewelry.
The police are still investigating and expect to make more arrests.
