Tourists in Spain Say Unlikely Problem Has Put 'Dampener' on Holidays

Tourists in Spain have been hit with an unlikely problem. Their holidays haven't gone to plan after they were hit by something unexpected.
The issue was brought to light on TikTok by a woman named Paula. She drew people's attention to the issue, and many others admitted they've experienced it too.
It's not the only time Spain has been in the news. A tourist admitted she couldn't believe what she saw from her sunbed.
Paula shared footage from her view in Majorca, saying 'Come to Majorca in May they said.' She showed clips of grey sky and admitted it had rained for three out of five days.
Though she could laugh it off, she drew attention to a particular issue. It got people talking in the comments.
One person said: 'Been here a week. Going home today. The rain has been a joke.'
Another added: 'It was exactly the same last year.' A third commented: 'Just got back from Menorca. We had one day to sunbathe.'
One person noted: 'We went for 10 days on May 4 and at one point the UK had better weather than us.'
Not everyone has had bad experiences. Many people praise the popular destination.
Another wrote: 'It's not been that bad.' Someone else replied: 'We don't control the weather.'
The weather in Majorca is usually good in May. Holidaymakers should expect warm, sunny days.
It's an ideal time for sightseeing and outdoor activities. The weather is stable, although nights can be cool.
Some tourists have reported seeing quite a bit of rain during their travels. The weather is something none of us can control.
Majorca is expected to see nine to 10 hours of sunshine per day. It's a super popular place to visit.
As the largest of the Balearic Islands, it is favoured for its beaches, sunny climate and nightlife. Tourist boards in Spain have been asked for further information.
