Lorraine Kelly Says Goodbye to Colleague on Live TV

Lorraine Kelly is back on TV.

The stars of Lorraine shared some news about someone leaving the show.

Lorraine Kelly returned to her ITV show on Thursday, May 21, and talked to model Jo Wood and discussed big news stories.

Lorraine handed over to Andi Peters, who was presenting a competition from Surrey. Andi sent his best wishes to the show's director, Barry, who is leaving the show.

Andi said, 'I'd like to say good luck to Barry, our director. This is the last time he gets to work with me and you. So, Barry, goodbye.'

Lorraine said, 'For now! He's talking to me now.'

Andi Peters announced that someone is leaving the show on live TV.

Andi said, 'We'd like to say goodbye to our family, part of our family. Goodbye Barry.' He then said, 'He's telling me to get on with it, so I better!'

The person leaving is going after some changes to the show. Last year, ITV made some cuts, and Lorraine was cut from an hour to 30 minutes.

Lorraine used to be on for almost the whole year, but now it's only on for 30 weeks. Good Morning Britain is on longer when Lorraine is not on.

The person in charge of ITV, Kevin Lygo, said that the company is going through a transition.

Kevin Lygo said, 'I know our plans will affect staff. We will work with them to make changes and support them.'

Andi presented a competition from Surrey.

Kevin Lygo said, 'Daytime TV has been important to ITV for over 40 years. These changes will help ITV bring viewers good news and discussions.'

Andi shared details of a new competition on Lorraine.

Andi said, 'You can win a big prize of £115,000. If you win, you can give £10,000 to someone you know.'

Andi said, 'You can give the £10,000 to a friend or brother. It's a life-changing amount of money.'

Susanna Reid said, 'Love it!' when she heard about the competition.

Lorraine is on TV on weekdays at 9:30 am.
