Summer is coming, and many people want to go to their cottages. A new show called 'Every Year After' is out, and it's a love story about a lake house.

The show is based on a bestselling book by Canadian author Carley Fortune. The book is set in a small town in Ontario called Barry’s Bay. The show was filmed in Canada, but the town in the show is not real.

The show has eight episodes, and it stars Sadie Soverall and Matt Cornett as the main characters, Percy and Sam.

Percy spends her summers at her family's cottage in Barry’s Bay, where she becomes friends with her neighbors, Sam and Charlie.

Percy and Sam become friends every summer, and their friendship turns into romance. Years later, Percy goes back to Barry’s Bay and sees her old boyfriend again.

The show jumps back and forth between Percy and Sam's past and present.

Other actors in the show include Aurora Perrineau, Abigail Cown, Joseph Chiu, and Elisha Cuthbert.

The show was filmed in many places in Canada, including British Columbia.

The author, Carley Fortune, wanted the show to be truly Canadian.

Fortune said she cared most about the setting of the book being in Canada.

The book is set in Barry’s Bay, Ontario, where Fortune grew up, but the show was not filmed there.

The show's creator, Amy B. Harris, said the story is beautiful because it's set in Canada, but they couldn't film in the real Barry’s Bay.

The filmmakers decided to film on an island near Vancouver instead.

If you watch the show closely, you'll see that the sign for Barry’s Bay says 'British Columbia', not Ontario.

Harris said they didn't want to pretend the show was filmed in Ontario when it was really in British Columbia.

Fortune was on set during filming and said British Columbia looks different from Ontario.

She wanted the show to clearly say that the fictional Barry’s Bay is in British Columbia.

Fortune said the setting of a story is very important to her, and she wants British Columbia to be shown as itself.

Some of the places where the show was filmed include a marina, a pub, and a restaurant.

Other TV shows have also been filmed on the same island.

The show was also filmed in Vancouver and at North Shore Studios.

After watching the first season, fans will wonder if there will be a second season.

The show's creator, Harris, thinks there could be five seasons.

Harris said there's another book that could be used for a second season, and it's about one of the characters finding love.

The show follows six main characters, and more characters will be added in future seasons.
