A British man living in Benidorm is warning tourists about a bad choice they might make.

The man, Harry Poulton, has lived in Benidorm for several years and made a video on TikTok about the mistake. He said tourists should avoid one part of the area because it is a 'complete and utter rip off'.

Harry stood on the beach and pointed to a small island about 2.2 miles away. He said, 'I know it's a big statement, but it's a waste of money.' He asked if he was wrong to think the island is a bad choice.

The island is called Peacock Island or Benidorm Island. Harry said tourists have to pay to go there by boat, and when they arrive, they will find there is almost nothing to do.

Harry said he doesn't know why the island is called Peacock Island because there are no peacocks. The last time he went, he saw pigeons, seagulls, and their waste.

The only thing on the island is a cafe that is too expensive. Tourists are stuck there until the next boat comes to pick them up.
