1:29accurately identify their patients
1:32to the right medical records
1:33so that mums and dads can know
1:34their kids are staying healthy.
1:38What’s unique about the Simprints Arm partnership
1:40is that we’re working to ensure
1:42our technology is specifically configured
1:46for the unique characteristics
1:47of the local population.
1:49Using Arm compute power and AI,
1:52we're assembling a training dataset
1:55that takes a really diverse
1:56cross-section of infants.
1:58We use existing smartphone and tablet cameras
2:02to be able to take a combination of the face,
2:04ear and even the sole of their feet
2:07to predict how that infant will grow,
2:09so when the algorithm sees them again,
2:12say, in 3 to 6 months time,
2:14we're able to recognize them
2:15and link them back to that original health record.
2:18This is a tiny amount of software,
2:20using really high energy efficient technology.
2:24That means it can literally reach
2:26the most remote communities
2:29I think ten years ago
2:30this would have been science fiction.
2:32It wouldn’t have been something
2:32that any team anywhere in the planet
2:36It's going to help us to know
2:38every history about the clients,
2:40especially the children.
2:42When they come, we know their schedules.
2:44So we know that this particular child,
2:46this is what I'm supposed to give
2:48at this particular time.
2:56When you have this near real time data
2:59from multiple clinics,
3:01multiple sources all over the country,
3:03you can paint a really accurate map of coverage,
3:06which kids have been vaccinated
3:07and which kids are potentially falling behind.
3:09Simprints is a key partner for Arm because
3:12they are working with governments
3:14on how they can analyze
3:16and distribute their resources
3:18in a more efficient way.
3:19We're working directly
3:20with the Ministry of Health in Ghana
3:22and many other countries
3:25to make sure that leaders
3:26can see the big picture
3:28to close those coverage gaps.
3:32That can not only save a lot of lives,
3:35reduce the cost of vaccine delivery around the world.
3:39We're bringing accountability
3:43No child needs to die again
3:45from something that is entirely preventable.
3:50can clearly be identified,
3:57I don't believe that technology is always the answer,
4:02it can be transformative.
4:05It’s making the invisible visible.
