1:06and that's a sort of conversational

1:09acknowledgement that you're in their

1:11presence.

1:14It seems really very unfair that man

1:18should have chosen the gorilla to

1:20symbolize all that is aggressive and

1:23violent when that's the one thing that

1:26the gorilla is not and that we are.

1:30And John said go over there and when you

1:34get to them start talking about the

1:37thumb and the forefinger and how it was

1:40important to grip things right. I said,

1:46youngsters come out and actually sit on

1:58There was a moment when you could barely

2:53she could look straight in my eyes and

2:56looked inside my mouth and put a finger

2:58in my mouth

3:00and then made this belch vocalization.

3:03So I did my best best to respond and you

3:06saw her look into one of his eye and

3:10then into his other arm and I thought my

3:12god his head's going to come off and we

3:14haven't finished the series yet which

3:16was a very uncharitable thing to think

3:19and I left called back through the

3:23underest and I said

3:25that was one of the most extraordinary

3:27moments of my life. Was it wonderful? He

3:29said well we got a got a bit.

3:32I said, "Only a bit?" He said, "Well,

3:34yes." I was waiting for you. I don't

3:36want to run a film when you're in the

3:37middle of explaining about the thumb and

3:39the forefinger.

3:46Extraordinary really. I mean, it was one

3:48of the most privileged moments of our

3:51life really.
