Removing black mould from silicone can be easy with baking soda paste.

Add 2-3 teaspoons of baking soda to 1 cup of water and mix. Apply the paste to the black mould area with a cloth.

Don't rub the paste, let it settle for a while. The baking soda needs time to work on the black mould.

Apply the paste and wait 5 minutes. Wrap the silicone in cling film to keep it moist.

After 5-10 minutes, remove the wrap and use a brush to remove the black mould.

Use cool water to rinse the sealant and remove any remaining black mould.

You may need to repeat the process if the stains are still there. Black mould on silicone can be stubborn.

Finally, dry the silicone with a clean cloth to prevent more mould from forming. This is an important step.
