Vietnam's Top Models Show Off New Fashion
Designer Chung Thanh Phong showed his new collection in Ho Chi Minh City with 100 handcrafted designs inspired by rare orchids.
This collection was different from his previous ones, as it celebrated the individuality of 80 women with each design tailored to a distinct personality.
The event had nearly 400 guests, including famous people from the fashion and music world.
Guests included Minh Tuyet, Ha Phuong, Khanh Van, and other famous models and singers.
Orchids inspired the new fashion collection.
The collection was inspired by mutant orchids, which are unique and special.
Each garment was made to be unique, with special shapes and fabrics.
The clothes had hand-embroidered orchid designs, made with thousands of stitches to look like real flowers.
It took more than six months to finish the embroidery on the clothes.
Vietnam's top models walked the runway.
Many famous Vietnamese models, including Lan Khue and Ha Anh, walked the runway.
The show had two parts, starting with everyday clothes and then moving to evening gowns.
One of the best moments was when Hoang Thuy wore a beautiful lingerie-inspired gown.
Ky Duyen opened the second part of the show in a strapless gown with 3D flowers.
The dress was made to look like an orchid petal and was worn with a special corset.
The collection used light materials like chiffon and lace, and also shiny elements like sequins.
The finale had 12 special gowns, including a dramatic crystal gown worn by Lan Khue.
The finale pieces took about a year to make and involved over 200 artisans.
Together, they made the designer's vision of individuality and fashion art come true.
