A Business in Regina Closes After 90 Years
There is a classic store called Bregg Cleaners & Tailors in Regina’s downtown area.
For many years, people have gone to Bregg’s for services like cleaning clothes and storing furs.
Monday was the last day they took orders.
The manager says his father bought the store in 1988, and it has been around since the 1930s.
Things have not been the same since the COVID-19 pandemic.
There used to be many cleaners in Regina, but now there are only a few, and people do not spend money on cleaning clothes like they used to.
The manager started working at the store when he was 11 years old, and he has many happy memories.
He liked having his family at the store, and they would have lunch together.
He will miss the customers and his colleagues, but he is humble about the secret to the store’s success.
The manager thinks the store was successful because of its good work and fair prices.
